Tony Lupo and Ryan Fairfield are the co-founders of The Warrior Next Door Podcast that features interviews they conducted (over 200 in total) as volunteers for the Library of Congress.

Our mission statement is simple and direct: We aim to share these amazing stories we stood witness to with a wider audience and reinforce the idea that events from the past are relevant today.

Our Vision is to connect with like minded individuals and help develop a new generation of citizen historians who crave substance and a deeper understanding of the human condition.

Tony Lupo is a father of twin boys and has an amazing wife who suffers the fate of being married to the village idiot.

By day he works as a geophysicist in the energy sector and has spent over 20 years collecting oral histories of veterans as a volunteer for the Library of Congress. He enjoys listening to old people.

On weekends you can find him riding bikes in the Denver foothills, camping, fishing, shooting WWII era firearms or diving into a good book.

Ryan Fairfield is married to his wife of 20 years, Erin. They have a daughter Lauren and son Hudson and reside in Bixby, OK. Ryan is a geophysicist of 25+ years in the oil and gas industry. His hobbies include keeping the local John Deere repair shop in business by regularly breaking his tractor. He enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar and traveling. When he isn’t working, or recording podcasts for our awesome listeners, he enjoys jamming with his son and daughter who play drums and piano respectively.
